  • Omen or KTM threat meter.
  • Deadly Boss mobs
  • some form of CT Raid, Healbot or Grid.. its a personal choice for those who heal. Have something

ALL shaman who raid will have mana pots, appropriate heal pots, bandages, water (there isnt always a Mage) pots for their specific style that give additional bonus. Foods that give additonal bonus. ANKHS!!!! *** reagents for walking on water is bonus in here!***

You come to a raid and ask another shaman or other raid member for anything and you wont get a second chance to do it again. COME PREPARED!

This three individuals are NOT to be questioned or argued with in regards to these stats. These are MINIMUM.. you could still be told no if another of your particular style is better equipped because of a particular Boss mob being fought.

If you have questions in regards to this as I said, direct them to the class lead

thank you

Shaman Talent Table

this note came from Deko and is worthy of posting here.

Posted: Fri Jan 18, 2008 1:47 pm Post subject: Classes, Talents, and You!

Due to the overwhelming influx of new talent specs that people are trying, I felt it was pertinent to outline a few things before it gets out of hand.

  • If you've played your character with a certain talent spec from creation to today, chances are you have a good feel for how your character performs under all situations.

However when you switch specs at level 70 things change. Especially if you've never played that spec before.

  • Please get used to a new spec prior to raiding with it. Especially if you haven't geared for that spec. Remember that certain classes are very gear dependent when it comes to specs.
  • Prot warriors changing to arms warriors can't expect to DPS in the same gear they wear to tank. Elemental shammies cannot expect to go to Enhancement and wear some mediocre blues. (These are probably the two most gear intensive classes in the entire game.)
  • I strongly urge the two classes and talent specs mentioned above to seek out and speak with Sragg and Darksilk, or any one of the pathfinders (as most of us have played every class at one point or another) to find out what kind of abilities/gear you should be aquiring prior to raiding with your new spec.
  • Do not take this the wrong way. I believe people should be entirely familiar with their class in all aspects, however, make sure you understand your new role completely because testing it out in a raid is not the best place. Heroics/Instances/and even Kara to an extent, should be where you're getting the experience and gear for your new role.
  • Thank you.

=SWAPPING TALENTS=

As a note, if you swap your Talent (ex. Resto to Enahncement, Elemental to Enhancement), you DO NOT automatically have a Primary Status in a raid. Your status was based on your prior spec. and you go to the bottom of the list. You must have the appropriate gear (see the specifications for Kara and The Lairs and be approved by the appropriate Shaman Lead for gear as well as the Class Lead.
